We have a super-cosy product review and giveaway for you!

What’s better than a cosy blankie to ward off those approaching winter chills when you are watching TV or reading a book, snuggled up on the couch? Why, it’s a Mermaid Tail blankie of course!

These luxurious heavy-knit rugs are just perfect to cuddle beneath! My kids absolutely adore theirs, and I have to admit that I often pinch one after they go to bed (half the fun is just sitting their flipping your tail backwards and forwards, pretending to be a mystical mermaid).

Of course they really do serve a purpose – your feet tuck away nicely into your tail pocket, and the rest of the rug is open to tuck right up around you and keep you toasty-warm!

These ones my girls are showing off here are the full-adult-sized crochet/knit mermaid tails. They are generous in size and much more fun than a boring old blanket!

We ordered ours from Gearbest.com for just under *$50 each with free postage (*March 2016 prices – check current rates). Being an international website, I expected them to take weeks to arrive, but they only took 8 days to NSW, Australia.

The Peppa Pig Holiday Jumbo Jet (RRP $39.99) is super-cute yet very tough – it has taken a few tumbles already –  and comes with its own holiday version of Peppa (both of my children corrected me on which Peppa belongs where!). It also comes with two little blue suitcases which can be packed into the flip-open cargo compartment of the plane! The roof opens to reveal passenger seats. Off they fly to their Sunshine Holiday Villa – let the fun begin! These toys all work great together, or as stand-alone toy sets.

The Sunshine Holiday Villa (RRP $59.99) is just gorgeous – this ingenious fold out play house would make a great Christmas present, as it comes complete with Peppa and George figures, plus furniture – bunk beds with a ladder, a shower – even a solid flight of stairs, which the kids just love using in their imaginative Peppa adventures! There’s even a paddling pool, outdoor furniture and barbeque with a flip-lid (that looks just like Dad’s!). Topped off with carry-handle, the Sunshine Holiday Villa is a great carry-along toy set for any little Peppa Pig fan!

The Peppa Pig Splash Speedboat (RRP $34.99) comes with a plump Daddy Pig to drive the boat, plus a little George to water-ski behind it! Underneath are three sets of wheels, so this “boat” actually is a push-along vehicle which fits in perfectly with the Sunshine Villa toy set, or as a separate Peppa Pig play toy!

The Rebecca Ice Cream Van (RRP $34.99) is just so sweet! It comes with the holiday Rebecca figure plus accessories – ice creams, table with sun umbrella, shop sign-board – plus of course a tricycle to tow the Ice Cream Van along so that Rebecca can sell her ice creams anywhere! The perfect addition to your Peppa Pig Holiday toys, or on its own, the Ice Cream Van will provide hours of fun through imaginative play!

One of the great fun things about these Peppa Pig toy sets is that the kids can watch the new The Holiday Peppa Pig DVD and then recreate scenes from it with their toys – or make up their own, new Holiday adventures with Peppa and her family!

The kids just loved that they had what they saw on the DVD, and could re-enact their favourite parts.
