A highly anticipated opening, Disneyland Paris have just announced all the exciting details of their second theme park transformation, from Frozen World to a brand new name! Here’s everything you need to know!
Hold on to your berets! Europe’s number one tourist destination Disneyland Paris is nearly finished building their very own Frozen World. Now the opening date for Paris Disney’s World of Frozen has finally been announced.
After our first Disneyland Paris trip last month where we were able to eagerly peek at the new World of Frozen from afar, we have been hanging out for every new morsel of information – here are the newly announced answers to all of your questions…
When is World of Frozen opening at Disneyland Paris?
Natacha Rafalski, Présidente of Disneyland® Paris has officially revealed the opening date for the highly anticipated World of Frozen as March 29th, 2026
Where will Disneyland Paris World of Frozen be located?
World of Frozen will be located inside Disney Adventure World, which will be the reimagined new name of the much-loved Disneyland Paris Walt Disney Studios Park. Head down the new Adventure Way avenue to a whole new world of attractions, entertainment and culinary delights!
When will Walt Disney Studios Park name change?
Walt Disney Studios Park name will change to Disney Adventure World from the official opening day of World of Frozen – 29th of March 2026. Walt Disney Studios Park is the second, smaller Disneyland Paris theme park. With the addition of World of Frozen, Walt Disney Studios Park will effectively double in size!
Are there any new Disneyland Paris rides?
Yes, there will be two new attractions in Disney Adventure World theme park from the 29th March 2026.
The Frozen Ever After attraction is a brand new family-friendly boat ride inside World of Frozen. This new ride will welcome guests of all ages! Take a high-tech interactive boat ride through the Kingdom of Arendelle and Elsa’s Ice Palace. Featuring cutting edge life-like Audio-Animatronics figures, riders can sing along to Frozen film favourites such as “Do You Want to Build a Snowman?” and “Let It Go” as you float along. During your journey you’ll get to see other beloved Arendelle locals such as Olaf, Sven, and Kristoff too!
Are there any Disney Tangled Themed Rapunzel rides?
Yes! Tangled fans will be going wild with the announcement of a brand-new Rapunzel themed ride Raiponce Tangled Spin inside Disney Adventure World! The new Tangled Disney Animation inspired ride brings to life the Tangled Lantern Festival – and so is held under a “sky” full of lanterns as you spin in gondolas underneath! Doesn’t that sound amazing?!
Disneyland Paris rides coming soon…
Disneyland Paris rides coming soon after the grand opening include a carousel inspired by Disney’s UP film and an area dedicated to The Lion King.
Will there be any new Disney Adventure World shows?
Yes, there will be a second spectacular Disneyland Paris night show! Disney Cascade of Lights will be presented inside Disney Adventure World over the new open-air stage of Adventure Bay – a 7.5-acre lake! A world-first, this brand new Disney night show offers a mix of a revolutionary aquatic drones and next generation aerial drones. These two new systems culminate in producing a completely new sky-meets-water experience of Disney storytelling!
Also new, A Celebration in Arendelle is a 15 minute daytime show featuring three Viking boats full of Frozen characters on Adventure Bay, occurring several times a day for the Snowflower Festival.
The new shows will also be debuting in World of Frozen inside Disney Adventure World from 29th of March 2026.
Where can I meet the Anna and Elsa characters from Frozen?
Frozen fans unite! Disneyland Paris World of Frozen is where you will find the Kingdom of Arendelle and get to meet Anna and Elsa from the Disney Frozen Movies. To meet Anna and Elsa in a Royal Encounter inside the Arendelle Castle in World of Frozen, visitors must join a virtual queue on the day of their visit.
There’s plenty more Arendelle characters to see around World of Frozen too! An amazing robotic, life size Olaf will be making regular appearances. Also keep your eyes open for the World of Frozen shopkeeper Oaken (Hoo-hoo!) and a cute baby troll named Mossie!
Will Mickey Mouse be at World of Frozen?
Yes! Guests can also meet Mickey or Minnie plus an assortment of other Disney characters throughout the day lakeside at Adventure Bay at the West Pavillion.
Will there be any Disney foodie restaurants to try?
Yes there sure will be! There will be fourteen new dining options inside Disney Adventure World, to be exact!
Here’s just a few to savour….
The Regal View Restaurant & Lounge is perfect for Disney Princess fans of young and old! Located along Adventure Way, this elegant table service restaurant will offer breakfast, lunch and dinner and feature panoramic Adventure Bay lake views. Dining guests will be offered the opportunity to meet with a variety of Disney Princesses – some wearing completely unique outfits! Some tables will be very popular, as they will be perfect for viewing the new Disney Cascade of Lights show over the lake.
Bistro Chez Rémy will be a lighthearted tribute to the beloved Disney French culinary rat! This restaurant sounds like so much fun, as Guests will dine around a huge jar of jam aboard a giant champagne cork!
Nordic Crowns Tavern is a new, historically decorated quick-service restaurant located inside of World of Frozen – perfect for a quick break, lunch or dinner during your busy Disney day! Delicious Nordic inspired cuisine will tempt the even the most discerning taste buds of any Disney foodie!
Can you buy alcoholic drinks and cocktails at Disneyland Paris?
Yes, from March 29 2026 Guests will also be able to access the Regal View Lounge to sip on signature cocktails and Disney Princess personality inspired drinks at the bar as they enjoy the lake view and listen to Disney classic piano renditions. This is Disneyland Paris’ very first bar, and no doubt a welcome addition.
Will there be Gluten-free and vegan dining options?
Yes, you can find both gluten free and vegan options at Nordic Crowns Tavern inside World of Frozen at Disney Adventure World.
Will there be any new Frozen merchandise at Disneyland Paris?
Yes! There will be new stores to visit inside World of Frozen too!
Arendelle Boutique is the village’s iconic toy shop which stocks exclusive Frozen merchandise, Nordic styled outfits, and also postcards you can send to your friends from the post box outside!
Inside the new Fjord View shop there is an interactive baby Troll toy named Runa for guests to befriend! There you can purchase your very own interactive troll toy, who also interacts with other troll dolls – and around Arendelle and with Anna and Elsa! Also in the Fjord View shop Guests will find an area dedicated to offering themed Frozen make up and hairstyles! Guests can get theirs done to show off as they stroll around Arendelle – how fun!
