Spring has certainly sprung at Taronga Zoo, Sydney with new babies popping up all over the place – and there are some rather unexpected additions to the zoo coming later in October!

Let’s go Mum has teamed up with Taronga Zoo to giveaway family passes (consisting of 2 adult/2 child tickets each) to 5 lucky families to go and visit Taronga Zoo! This is the perfect opportunity to get on down to Taronga these school holidays. If you can’t make it during the holidays, these passes are valid right up until August next year, so you can always save them for later!

But who would want to miss a sighting of the brand new baby chimp, born just last month, nestled in his mama Shiba’s arms? That is, if he isn’t tumbling all about the chimp enclosure, being cheeky and showing off his growing strength, like any naughty-but-cute baby chimp would!

But for true baby-cuteness (and chaos) you might like to make a bee-line to check out the twelve – that’s right, twelve – new squirrel monkeys!

Add to this cute-crew the fact that Nupela, the rare-to-be-born-in-captivity Tree Kangaroo joey is now a year old and oh-so-inquisitive, exploring the tree-tops in her enclosure right near the main entrance – a must-see!

And that’s not all – from the end of October, there will be a bunch of dinosaurs invading – well, sort of! Animatronic herds of dinosaurs will be at Taronga from 31 October – now that would be a sight to see next to Sydney Harbour, and a popular draw-card for children too, I’m betting!

Let’s face it, Taronga is an amazing place to visit with the kids on school holidays or the weekend, with the amazing animal exhibits, shows and talks – and we’re giving 5 families the opportunity to go for free thanks to our new Taronga competition – yay!
