Which Disneyland Resort in California tickets should I choose?
When you go to Klook to purchase your Disneyland tickets you’ll be met with a few different selections. Before you choose anything, read any terms, condition and notes thoroughly to be sure to be across how they work.
How many Disney parks are in California?
There are two Disneyland Resort theme parks in Anaheim, California, located directly opposite each other.
Disneyland Park – the original Disneyland, and Disney California Adventure – the second Disney theme park in California. It’s just a minute’s walk to cross from one park to the other. Both parks are currently celebrating Disney’s 100th anniversary!
What kind of Klook Disneyland tickets are available?
There are two types of California Disney Resort tickets available to choose from on Klook – the 1 Park per Day ticket and the Park Hopper ticket.
The Disneyland 1-Park-Per-Day Ticket
Cheaper, and perfect for your days at Disneyland Resort when you want to stay within one park, the One Park Per Day Disneyland Ticket from Klook is just the thing!
How does the One Park Per Day Disney Ticket work?
You just choose which of the two Disneyland Resort theme parks you’d like to visit for each day – Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure.
You can choose how many days you’d like to visit. Choose from 2, 3, 4 or 5 days. Note that with this choice, there is a minimum order of 2 days, and whilst you are at the Disneyland Resort you can’t change parks during the day – you get access only to the one park each day.
The Disneyland Park Hopper Ticket
Can’t decide which park to visit on which day – why not do both?
Purchase the Disneyland Resort Park Hopper ticket for total flexibility. With a Park Hopper Ticket, you can visit the two parks in one day. It’s great to have the ability to revisit your favourite Disney rides at either park during the day – and that’s exactly what you can do if you choose a Park Hopper Disneyland ticket.
How does the Disney Park Hopper Ticket work?
After a certain time each day (it depends upon the day and season – usually 10am for quieter days or 2pm for busy days) you can walk (“hop back and forwards”) between the parks as much as you like with your Klook Disneyland Park Hopper Ticket – too easy!
Again, you have the option of choosing from 2 to 5 days. We pinged around like crazy with our Park Hopper tickets, and although they’ll cost you a little more, they’re definitely worth it to optimise your time at Disneyland.
Disney Genie Plus
When selecting your tickets on Klook you’ll also see a choice between Genie+ or Regular. Whilst the Genie+ option costs more, it really is worth the extra money!
What is Genie Plus?
Genie plus means you can do so much more with your precious Disney time. Because believe me – you never feel like you have enough time at Disneyland! When we travel all the way from overseas to Disneyland we want to make sure we do as much with our precious Disneyland time as we can. Enter – Genie plus!
Genie+ added to your Disneyland Tickets allows you to access what’s called Lightning Lanes at Disneyland Resort.
How does Genie+ work?
Genie+ works using a QR code system. On the Disney App you access the Genie+ list and select a ride and time slot. You then go to that ride within the hour time limit allotted to you and scan in at a special entrance with your Genie+ QR code.
It’s best to make your first Genie+ booking as soon as you enter the park (as you can’t use it until you are inside the park). Genie+ bookings do eventually fill up throughout the day, so don’t leave using your Genie+ until the last minute or you may miss out!
There are some Genie+ booking rules to keep the system fair, such as you need to book Genie+ time slots a couple of hours apart, or after your last Genie+ booking has been scanned into – whichever comes first. You can also only use Genie+ for certain rides, plus you can only use it once per ride.
What are Disneyland Lightning Lanes?
Lightning Lanes are basically a fast lane you can access with your Disney Genie+ Disneyland ticket add-on.
Lightning Lanes bypass much of the Disneyland long and winding standby ride queues by funnelling you straight to the head of the line. This can save you hours of waiting in line. Several popular ride lines can be well over an hour, or even two hours long.
I’d highly recommend selecting Genie+ in addition to your Klook Disneyland Resort California ticket to access the Disneyland and California Adventure Lightning Lanes – time is money, and it is really worth its weight in gold!
Any Date
Any Date is the default last button selection. Currently, due to the Disney park reservation system all tickets are open dated until you make your park reservation. Your Klook tickets will commence from your first day of use at Disneyland. Check the terms and conditions to see how long you have to use your Disneyland tickets after your first day of use.

How do I link my tickets to the Disneyland App?
To link your Klook Disneyland tickets to the Disneyland App, you’ll need to create a Disney account and then copy your Klook ticket numbers onto your account. You can watch our Klook Disneyland Tickets YouTube video here for step-by-step instructions.
How do I make a Disneyland park reservation?
To make a Disney Resort park reservation, first you’ll need to link your Klook Disneyland tickets to the Disneyland App, then you can choose the dates you’d like to visit Disneyland. Watch the step-by-step instructions on our Klook Disneyland Tickets YouTube video here .
Is a Disneyland park reservation compulsory?
Yes, a Disneyland Resort park reservation is absolutely essential prior to visiting Disneyland in 2023. Until at least the end of 2023 you must make a Disneyland Resort park reservation IN ADDITION to holding valid Disneyland Park tickets before you visit. People have been turned away at the Disneyland gates even if they have a valid ticket if they do not have a park reservation.
Do I need to make Disneyland reservations for both parks with a Park Hopper Ticket?
No, you only need to have a park reservation for the first park you visit, which you have already nominated on your Klook Disney ticket.
