The JR N’EX train is a direct train into Tokyo and its line goes to Tokyo Station (to change for the Disney Parks) then both Shibuya and Shinjuku (or Yokohama). You’ll need to buy tickets for the NEX train from the JR Office.

Can I buy a Suica IC Card at Narita Airport?

Yes, you can buy a Suica IC train card at Narita Airport Station at the JR Rail office. It’s a good idea to buy a train travel card like a Welcome Suica Card (short term for tourists) or Suica Card and put credit on it if you will be catching trains in Tokyo during your visit. Otherwise, you can buy single trip tickets from the machines which have English options. The Suica Card will also work with the Tokyo Disney Monorail and work with many vending machines and at shops.

How do I get from Narita Airport to Tokyo Station by bus?

Another option is buying a bus ticket to Tokyo Station and catch a train to Tokyo Disney from there.

What if my flight arrives late at Narita Airport?

If your flight arrives at Narita Airport late transport options become less frequent. You are probably best to pre-book a Private car to your Tokyo Hotel.

Tip for Australians: Jetstar Australia arrives at Narita International Airport Terminal 3. Catch buses including the Limo Bus and Taxis right outside of Terminal 3 or take the free terminal shuttle bus to Terminal 2 for the train station.

How do I get from Tokyo Station to Tokyo Disney?

The walk from Tokyo Airport trains to the Keiyo Line (Tokyo Disney Platform) can take 10-15 minutes and includes travelators and escalators or elevators. You can watch the whole walk at the start of my video here. The train journey from the Keiyo Line platform at Tokyo Station to Maihama Station (Disneyland) will take around twenty minutes.

How do I get to Tokyo Disney by Shinkansen from Osaka?

If you arrive by Shinkansen (bullet train, usually from Osaka) you’ll arrive at Tokyo Station, in Tokyo. Your ongoing travel to Tokyo Disney will be from Tokyo Station. You can walk to the Keiyo Train Line platform to Maihama Station at Tokyo Disney Resort, or catch a Taxi, Uber or Private Transfer car to Tokyo Disney Resort.

How do I get from Maihama Station to my hotel?

You can catch the Tokyo Disney Resort Line Monorail at the Resort Gateway Station located right next to Maihama Station. Or they may offer free shuttle buses out the front of the station. You’ll need to check, depending upon your hotel.

How do I get from Maihama Station to the Tokyo Disney Parks?

You can either turn right outside of Maihama Station and walk down to Disneyland (10 minutes) or turn left to walk next door to the Resort Gateway Station and catch the Disney Resort Line Monorail one stop for Disneyland, three stops for DisneySea.

Is the Tokyo Disney Monorail free?

No. You will need to buy tickets or use a Japan IC Suica card to ride it. Tokyo Disney Resort Line staff can help you to buy tickets or put credit on your Suica card if you don’t know how. Ticket machines have English options are are easy to use. Picture-card multi day tickets can save you money and make a nice souvenir too!

When is the earliest Tokyo Disney Monorail?

The earliest Tokyo Disney Resort Line Monorail leaves from the Resort Gateway Station at 6:03am.

When is the latest Tokyo Disney Monorail?

The latest Tokyo Disney Resort Line Monorail leaves from the Resort Gateway Station at 23:30pm.

The Tokyo Disney Monorail operating hours are from 6:03am to 23:30pm.

Can I leave my bags at Maihama Station?

Yes. If you want to head straight to the Disney parks, the Welcome Center is located next to the Maihama Station. If you are staying at a Disney Hotel or certain Disney partner hotels you can drop your luggage in at the Welcome Center and head to the parks and they will transfer your luggage to your hotel for free. (The hotels can also do the reverse and transfer your bags from the hotel to the Welcome Centre for a charge). Otherwise there are plenty of large-size lockers at Maihama Station available for a fee.

The Limo Bus takes approximately 80 minutes each way from Narita to Tokyo Bay, at Tokyo Disney.

The Limo Bus operates 7:50am-6pm daily from Narita. If you arrive after 5:30pm, chances are you have missed the last Limo Bus from Narita Terminal 3.

How much luggage is allowed on the Limo Bus?

Passengers are allowed 2 pieces of stowed luggage up to 30kgs each.

Can I buy tickets for the Limo Bus from Narita Airport?

You can book the Limo bus at Narita airport or online in advance from the official website (but you do need to book the return journey from your hotel). All coach and Limo Buses have counters at the airport arrival areas (after customs) for ticket purchases.

No, the Limo Bus does not go to the Disney Celebration Hotel. Disney Celebration Hotel guests will need pre book the Limo Bus, and then catch the free Celebration shuttle bus to Disneyland or DisneySea and get on the Limo Bus there.

There are lots of transport options to get from the Tokyo Airports to your Tokyo Hotel.

How do I get to Downtown Tokyo from Narita Airport?

There are two main express train types into Tokyo at Narita Airport.

The fastest way into central Tokyo at Ueno from Narita is via the Keisei Skyliner express train.

Catch the Keisei Skyliner train to Ueno

The electric Keisei Skyliner is a fast, comfortable uninterrupted ride to Nippori (35 mins) to change to the JR Line, or Ueno (45 mins) in downtown Tokyo. You can save 10% off onsite prices by booking online on Klook or buy a ticket at the Keisei Office for the Skyliner electric train to Ueno.

Catch the JR N’EX train to Shibuya and Shinjuku

The JR N’EX Narita Express train is a direct and economical train into Tokyo. Its line goes to Tokyo Station (Just over 1 hour) and then both Shibuya and Shinjuku.

You can also take a Willer Bus etc. to Tokyo Station and catch a train or bus to the different Tokyo wards or Tokyo Disney from there. This can be one of the most economical choices.

There are also direct Limo buses available from the airport to different Tokyo city areas such as Shinjuku, Ikebukuro and Akihabara, and also Tokyo Disney.
